A moment in our arms a lifetime in our hearts
~ Light a Candle
Light a candle for those we mourn. Into a new life they have been born. Do not look for them at the grave site. They are somewhere else radiating their beautiful light. They have gone to a new world, of no darkness, no pain. Their light and essence will always remain. Light a candle for those who have left this mortal place. They are free to travel through time and space. When we think of them they are near. When we sit in a beautiful garden. Their voices we hear. When we listen to a divine symphony We close our eyes, and their faces we see. Light a candle for they have not really gone. With each flickering flame, in your hearts they will always belong.
Dakotah, Austin and Gianna are Smiling right now, knowing that YOUhavetaken a precious moment in your busy day to Remember Them.
Their lives lasted for a brief moment on earth. But memories shared can make that moment in time last forever in our
We pray that you will take the time to share a thought or a memory on these pages adding it to this Perpetual Memorial as a tribute to Dakotah, Austin or Gianna.
Perhaps you may only want to Light a candle with a few words. If you have a special poem or letter you would like to share, please do so under Tributes & Condolences. Favorite photos can be added in the Photo Album.

Dakotah and Austin Smiling and Looking At Us Through Heaven's Portal
"You are our connection from the past to the future. Our past is full of your memories. Our present holds on to your memory. Our future, in HEAVEN with JESUS, is where we will make our new memories"

There are many things in life that will catch your eye, but only a few will catch your heart ...
In my dreams I'll always see you soar above the sky. In my heart there will always be a place for you for all my life. I'll keep a part of you with me, and everywhere I am, there you'll be.
Every Story has an END, but n Life Every End is just a new Beginning. Each new sunrise brings HOPE for tomorrow."
...but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
Letter From Heaven
To our dearest family, Some things we would like to say, but first of all. We'd like to let you know that we arrived okay. ~~ We're writing this from heaven. Where we now dwell with God above. Here there are no more tears of sadness. Here there is just Eternal Love. Please do not be unhappy just because we're out of sight. Remember that we are with you every morning, noon, and night. That day we had to leave you when our life on earth was through, God picked us up and hugged us and said, "I welcome you. It's good to have you back again. You were missed while you were gone. As for your dear family, they will be here later on. I need you here badly, you're part of my plan. There's so much we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave us a list of things, that He wished for us to do. And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you. And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight God allows us to be closest to you...in the middle of the night. When you think of our life on earth and all those loving years, because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears. Do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain. Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
We wish that we could tell you all God has planned. If we were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. But one thing is for certain, though our life on earth is through, We're closer to you now, than we ever were before. There are many rocky roads ahead of you, and many hills to climb, but together we can do it by taking it "One day at a time". It was always our philosophy and we'd like it for you too, that, "As you give unto the world, the world will give to you". If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain, then you can say to God at night..."My day was not in vain." And now we are contented that our lives were worthwhile, knowing as we passed along the way we made someone smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low; just lend a hand to pick him up as on your way you go. When you're walking down the street and you've got us on your mind, We're walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind. And when it's time for you to go...from that body to be free. Remember you're not going...You're coming... To Heaven...to God, my sister, brother and me.

Some people leave behind a legacy of achievements, travel, fame and fortune.
Being young children at the time of their passing, Dakotah, Austin and Gianna didn't leave behind any "Great Claim to Fame" but they did leave behind Footprints on the Hearts of many Family Members and Friends who were dearest to them.
Bubbling with MEMORIES of days gone by. Missing you always with silent Tears we can't cry.
"Real Tears are not those that
fall from the Eyes and cover the Face But those that fall from the Heart and cover the Soul"
"May they always be seated in the lap of the Lord, those whom are still here and in the thereafter"
When God calls little children
To dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question
The wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with
The death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world
Seem wonderful and mild
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold,
So He picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
And so He takes but few
To make the land of Heaven
More beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult,
Still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind knows
Will always be “Goodbye”.
So when a little child departs,
We who are left behind
Must realize God loves children,
Angels are hard to find. Author unknown

Looking through Heaven's Portal of Grace
"They shall not grow old as we grow old Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn At the going down of the sun and in the morning"
We will remember them. "There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go."
WHY DO WE LIGHT CANDLES ?- Lanis
~ We light candles...
...because we love, and candlelight is a reflection of that love. ...to illuminate our better selves, highlighting the beauty in each other, inside and out. ...to provide comfort in our sadness, soothe our sorrow, and heal the hurt of loss. ...for sanctuary --the aura of candlelight creates a place to meditate, pray, and give devotion. ...for solitude, contemplation, and reflection. ...for hope, not just for ourselves, but to inspire us to bring hope to others. ...to lift our heart, renew our spirit, encourage our body in the healing process. ...because there is darkness --candlelight reminds us the world can be a better place if we believe and work together. ...for community, a thousand candles together is even brighter than a thousand apart. ...to help illuminate in our hearts what can be.
Light a candle for the one you love...
May God Bless You Always

EMOTIONS IN COLORS - by Dakotah written Nov. 20, 2006 6th Grade
Love is PINK like when you blush, also like the color of an apple blossom crush.
Love flows through my veins filling every space. Reminding me of hot chocolate that warmed my face.
It makes me feel numb like in a good way. It makes me want to do something crazy and fly, fly away without delay.
JOHN MASIAS by Dakotah written by Dakotah (sung to the tune of The Beverly Hillbillies)
Come 'n listen to my story 'bout a lad named John
A poor shepherd boy, orphaned at the age of five
And then one day, as he was praying near a tree
Along came a traveler who said, “Please pray for me”.
Prayers, Visions, Heaven’s gold.
Well, the first thing you know, John’s now a missionary
His visions from God said, “In time you’ll move from Spain.
Peru is the place, where you will dwell.
Praying for departed souls and saving them from h..e..double..L."
The poor, the savage and the uneducated Indians.
Well, now it's time to say goodbye to John and all his friends,
You’re all invited back again to listen to me sing.
About John Masias and how he fed the poor
He remained in the world, died a happy death
In the...year of...1654
ERIE CANAL - Dakotah's version Me and Sal are comin' back to town Less than 15 miles on the Erie Canal We're almost there - I cannot wait Tired of sleeping nightly in a wooden crate
Got some bruises on my back, sore feet, head aches and all of that But I'll not complain 'bout all these pains Maybe next time - I'll just take the train.
Low bridge! Everybody down! Low bridge cause we're comin' back to town We want to see our neighbors - We want to visit our pals Cause we've missed them everyday - while we've been away Walking along the edge of the Erie Canal.
A Reason, A Season or A Lfetime People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. -anonymous

Dakotah, Austin and Gianna, thank you for being a special part of our lives, whether you were a Reason, a Season or a Lifetime. We will always cherish your memory.
